For us, Taoyuan often meant the airport and departures, but during COVID, we also found time to explore its towns together.

Ron has always loved Nantou’s forests and mountains, and it is also where his parents are from.

Where Iris’s parents are from, and where her grandparents live — a place of coastlines, family roots, and seafood we loved.

Taichung臺中
The city where we first visited a pre-sale housing project together, and where Iris joined Ron in trying the Taichung MRT when it first opened.

Tainan臺南
A city of food, history, and slow walks through old streets and cultural corners.

Chiayi嘉義
Alishan brings together two things Ron loves most: forests and trains. We came here before Ron returned to Hong Kong during COVID.
